Ceyboard Karnival

A game about cute animals and typing your way to victory. Try your best to use upgrades and relics to alter the way the letters you type affect the other words around. 

The game is played entirely with a keyboard, all controls are typed. The goal is to try and pass a score threshold for round of the game. The scoring on a baseline works off of scrabble values, so the total value of a typed word is the sum of its letters. That is, at the beginning at least. You can buy upgrades in the shop after each round. The upgrades will affect the blocks around the one that is typed in. 

The yellow upgrade adds a base score that gets multiplied

The red upgrade adds base multiplicative value to multiply the score

The blue upgrade adds exponential value to multiply the multiplicative value

The green upgrade restores health to the blocks

The upgrades affect the blocks in accordance to their level

The upgrades come in different shapes that they affect the board, which is denoted by the shape behind the letter on the upgrade screen.

Once you buy an upgrade, the type remains locked in for the rest of the run, but the shape can change every time you upgrade it. Every time an upgrade is applied, the green health value on the block reduces by one. Every time the block is affected when the health is zero, a random letter gets removed.
